John Alldis

John joined the Carne Group in Luxembourg in 2014 as Managing Director and has over 40 years’ experience in the funds industry. Prior to joining the Carne Group, John served as Managing Director of Legg Mason International (“LMI”) and as Director on the Legg Mason and Western Asset fund platforms established in Luxembourg, Ireland, the UK and Cayman Islands. He was also appointed Head of LMI’s Luxembourg-based UCITS licensed management company. John’s governance responsibilities included overseeing the risk management and compliance functions as well as monitoring fund operations, while his business responsibilities included product implementation and management. His areas of expertise include UCITS, alternative investment funds and all major and emerging markets as well as frontier markets. John is a Luxembourg national and speaks four languages.
